VIP Smart Homes Support Plans
Proactive Care, Priority Service, and Your Own App
A support membership keeps a dedicated team watching over your technology, puts you ahead of everyone else when you need help, and gives you a private app with your entire system inside it. Starting at $500/month. Cancel anytime.
Two Things Every Member Gets That Others Don't
A support plan is more than a phone number to call when something breaks. It is an ongoing relationship, and it comes with two advantages no one outside the program has.
Your Whole System, In Your Pocket
Every component we install is logged in your private app: make, model, location, install date, and notes. When something needs attention, you and our team are looking at the same complete picture, so there is no guessing about what is behind the wall or in the rack.
Front of the Line, Always
Members come first. When you report a problem in the app or call us, your request goes to the top, ahead of anyone who is not on a plan. Day or night, you are never waiting behind someone else for the help your home needs.
Your Home, In One App Built For You
Every VIP Smart Homes member gets a private app for their home. It runs in any web browser and installs to your phone in seconds, with no app store required. See your full system, report an issue with photos, reach our team, and keep your important access organized, all in one place.
Want to see it before you join? Explore the live demo right now. No login needed for the demo, just tap in and look around.

We Don't Wait for Something to Break. Neither Should You.
Most smart home systems are installed, commissioned, and then forgotten, until something stops working. The installer disappears. Firmware goes years without an update. Batteries die. Network conflicts build up silently until the whole system feels unreliable. By the time you notice, the problem has been growing for months.
VIP Smart Homes takes a fundamentally different approach. Our subscription support plans keep a dedicated team actively monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing your system, finding problems before you do and keeping every component performing at its best.
You get 24/7 priority access to our support team, a scheduled monthly system check, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone is always watching over the technology in your home.
Every Plan Covers the Essentials
24/7 Priority Access
Your call goes to the front of the line. Day or night, weekday or weekend. No phone trees. No ticket queues. Direct access to the same team that designed and installed your system, whenever you need them.
Monthly System Check
A comprehensive review of every subsystem: lighting scenes, shade operation, audio zones, camera feeds, network health, battery levels, and automation schedules. On site or remote. We look for problems before they become ones.
Software & Firmware Updates
We track every firmware release from Lutron, Control4, Sonos, Ubiquiti, and every platform in your home. Updates are evaluated, tested, and applied in the right order during your monthly service window.
Hardware Health Check
We inspect your equipment rack, verify thermal conditions, check physical connections, test battery powered devices, confirm camera recording integrity, and ensure every component is operating within spec.
Proactive Problem Detection
Through cloud management platforms like OvrC and Lutron's remote tools, we monitor your network health and system status continuously between visits. Slow speeds, offline devices, and storage warnings are identified and resolved before you notice.
Living System Documentation
Your system files, network maps, device inventories, and programming records are maintained and updated with every change, and the highlights show up in your app. If a component needs replacement five years from now, we know exactly what is installed and how it is configured.
What Happens to a Smart Home Without Maintenance
You wouldn't drive your car for three years without an oil change. You wouldn't leave your HVAC system running for five years without a filter swap. But that's exactly what happens to most smart homes. And the consequences are real.
Unpatched firmware creates security vulnerabilities in your cameras and network. Outdated software causes devices to lose compatibility with each other. Batteries die in wireless shades and sensors without warning. Hard drives in security recorders fill to capacity and stop recording. Wi-Fi performance degrades as new devices are added without proper channel management. Scenes and schedules drift as family routines change but programming doesn't.
The result isn't a dramatic failure. It's a slow erosion of the experience you paid for, until one day your smart home doesn't feel so smart anymore. A VIP Smart Homes support plan prevents all of this.
Most Integrators Disappear After Installation. We Don't.
The smart home industry has a well known problem: the relationship between integrator and homeowner often ends the day the system is commissioned. If something breaks six months later, you call. If nothing breaks, you never hear from them again.
VIP Smart Homes is built on the opposite model. We believe the installation is the beginning of the relationship, not the end. Your support plan means we know your system intimately, we have current documentation, we've been inside your home recently, and we can diagnose issues in minutes, not hours.
That's the difference between reactive support and proactive care. One waits for failure. The other prevents it.

Common Questions About Support Plans
Does my support plan include the client app?
Yes. Every active support member gets the VIP Smart Homes client app, where you can see your full system inventory, report a problem, and reach our team directly. The app is by invitation for members, and anyone can explore the live demo at app.vipsmarthomes.com.
Why does the app take a few seconds to sign in?
The app runs as a secure web app, so the first sign in after it has been idle takes a few seconds to wake up. That is normal and expected. Once you are in, it is fast and responsive.
How do I add the app to my iPhone?
Open app.vipsmarthomes.com in Safari, tap the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen. Give it a name and tap Add. The app then lives on your home screen and opens like a native app. On Android, open it in Chrome and choose Add to Home screen.
Is there a contract or long term commitment?
No. All support plans are month to month. You can cancel anytime with no penalties, no fees, and no questions asked.
What does the monthly system check include?
Every subsystem in the home, run against the same checklist each month so nothing drifts. We document any change since the last visit so the system file stays current. The full item list is in the What's Included section above.
Can the monthly check be done remotely?
Yes. For many systems, a remote check covers the majority of diagnostics. On site visits are recommended at least quarterly for physical hardware inspection, but your monthly check can alternate between remote and on site.
What if I need support outside of the monthly visit?
Your plan includes 24/7 priority access to our support team. If something needs attention between visits (whether it's a quick remote fix or an emergency on site call), you're at the front of the line.
Do you support systems you didn't install?
In most cases, yes. We'll perform an initial assessment to understand your system's architecture and document its current state. If remediation is needed before we can maintain it reliably, we'll tell you upfront.
Is the $500/month plan enough for my home?
The Essential plan covers a two hour monthly check and is well suited for most single residence smart homes. For extensive automation, multiple buildings, or 50+ zones, we'll recommend a custom plan that matches what your system actually needs.
Can I use support plan hours for system changes or additions?
Support plan hours are dedicated to maintenance, updates, and system health. Expansions and new projects are scoped separately, but support plan members receive priority scheduling and preferred pricing.
Do you coordinate with property managers?
Absolutely. For clients who aren't always at the property, we work directly with property managers, house managers, or any designated point of contact. Monthly reports can be provided to whoever manages your household.
What brands and systems do you support?
We support every brand we install: Lutron (HomeWorks, RadioRA 3, Ketra, Lumaris, Sivoia QS shades), Control4, Sonos, Focal, Stealth Acoustics, Sony, UniFi, Ring, Crestron, and all associated networking and AV equipment.
What happens to my system files if I cancel?
Your system documentation remains on file with us. If you rejoin later or need a one time service call, we'll have everything we need to pick up where we left off.
